THE INTERNATIONAL OF EVERYTHING

Multiplicity is a new way of thinking, seeing and doing
International Relations.

Yet multiplicity has always been IR’s distinctive approach to social reality.

Human existence is multiple:
societally, politically, culturally, developmentally and ecologically.

This multiplicity has consequences:
Co-existence, Difference, Interaction, Combination and Relational Change.

These consequences are general features of the human world
and they provide a unique common ground for IR theory and practice.

The Multiplicity Project explores this common ground
in order to unlock IR’s latent potential.
